Februar 2021: ubitricity ist nun eine 100%-ige Tochtergesellschaft von Shell. <\/p>\n\n\n\n\n<p> <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Shell hat eine Vereinbarung unterzeichnet, ubitricity, einen der f\u00fchrenden europ\u00e4ischen On-Street-Ladeanbieter f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge (EVs) zu kaufen. Diese Entscheidung stellt einen weiteren Schritt in den Bem\u00fchungen von Shell dar, die Fahrer beim Umstieg auf kohlenstoff\u00e4rmeren Transport zu unterst\u00fctzen. Vorbehaltlich der kartellrechtlichen Genehmigung wird die Vereinbarung voraussichtlich noch in diesem Jahr abgeschlossen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ubitricity wurde in Berlin gegr\u00fcndet, ist mittlerweile in zahlreichen europ\u00e4ischen L\u00e4ndern aktiv und betreibt mit mehr als 2700 eigenen Ladepunkten das gr\u00f6\u00dfte \u00f6ffentliche Lade-Netz in Gro\u00dfbritannien (aktuell mehr als13 % Marktanteil <sup>[1]<\/sup>). Dar\u00fcber hinaus baut das Unternehmen seine Position vor allem in Deutschland und Frankreich aus und hat bereits 1500 private Ladepunkte f\u00fcr Flottenkunden in Europa installiert <sup>[2]<\/sup>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ubitricity arbeitet mit lokalen Beh\u00f6rden in Europa zusammen, um Ladem\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge in bestehende Stra\u00dfeninfrastrukturen wie Laternenmasten und Poller zu integrieren. Diese L\u00f6sung ist erschwinglich und einfach f\u00fcr alle, die ihr Fahrzeug laden wollen, w\u00e4hrend es auf der Stra\u00dfe parkt. Das Angebot ist vor allem f\u00fcr jene hilfreich, die privat keine M\u00f6glichkeit haben, ihre Batterie \u00fcber Nacht aufzuladen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Mit der \u00dcbernahme treibt Shell die Expansion in dem schnell wachsenden On-Street-Lademarkt f\u00fcr Elektrofahrzeuge voran und erweitert Kernkompetenzen, um das Ladeangebot insgesamt auszubauen. Dieses umfasst aktuell bereits mehr als 1000 Schnell- und Ultraschnell-Ladepunkte an rund 430 Shell Tankstellen plus weltweit mehr als 185.000 Ladepunkte <sup>[3]<\/sup> an unterschiedlichen Standorten, etwa auf Tankstellen, an Autobahnen und Elektro-Hubs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Executive Vice President von Shell Global Mobility, Istv\u00e1n Kapit\u00e1ny, sagt: \u201eIndem wir mit St\u00e4dten und Kommunen zusammenarbeiten, m\u00f6chten wir die wachsende Zahl von Shell Kunden unterst\u00fctzen, die auf ein Elektroauto umsteigen wollen, und es Ihnen so bequem wie m\u00f6glich machen.
